SBI PO Main Exam Results Released | GD in September 2015 Read

SBI PO Results 2015,SBI PO Prelims result 2015,SBI PO Prelims Cutoff marks,Did you take part in the SBI PO recruitment 2015? Then there is good news for you as the main exam results has been recently. State bank of India had changed its selection process this year moving to a two tier written test.This seems to have reduced the time taken to release the results which once took longer than expected.All those who were shortlisted now, must appear for Interviews.

The SBI PO recruitment was held to fill 2000 officer vacancies in State Bank of India branches across India.

Accordingly, the notification was published & for the first time ever, SBI came up with a different methods to pick candidates, which are:

Phase I – Preliminary Examination for 100 marks (see cutoffs Click Here
Phase II – Main Exam for 250 marks
Phase III – Group discussion & Interview

Main Results are Out

The results of online preliminary exam that was held in June 2015 were announced in July itself.The minimum cutoff scores were also put up at that time.Candidates who qualified in prelims then appeared for the mains in the month of July.

Now the results for SBI PO mains is also published by state bank & approx. 5600 candidates have successfully cleared it.See the list of roll. nos in the document published on their website here Click Here(download for pdf file)


If you find your roll number in the above list, then expect an email or/and SMS from the bank about your selection.

What Happens Next?

With the exam results released, action shifts to the final stage of this PO recruitment process – Personal Interviews.

According to the official announcement,
  • Group discussion & interviews shall start from September 7 onwards.Both could be conducted on the same day itself but in batches.
  • Call letters & Bio data form will be available for qualified candidates that should be downloaded from the bank`s website from August 28th.This letter will contain the interview venue, time & list of documents you need to carry.
Call letters for GD cum interview won’t be sent to your address by post.Hence don’t forget to visit sbi.co.in & download the letter.

How Much to Score for Final Selection?

You can expect the final selection list during the last week of October.But do you how much one needs to score inorder to get featured in the appointment list?

Just like prelims & mains, there are separate scores for this phase III as well.Here are the breakup:

Group discussion – 20 marks & Interview – 30 marks

A final merit list is prepared for 100 marks which is derived by converting the 250 marks of main exam to 75 & 50 marks of phase III to 25.

The candidates who rank at the top for each category would then be finally appointed to SBI as per vacant positions.
